Ruthu Thailam ("we", "our", "us") values your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use ruthuthailam.in (the "Site"), how we use it and the choices you have. By using the Site you agree to this policy.

- Details you give us: your name, mobile number, the oil you are interested in and any message you type into our chat form or send us on WhatsApp, phone or email.
- Technical data: if analytics is switched on, standard information such as your approximate location, device type, browser, pages viewed and the buttons you click (for example, WhatsApp buttons).
The Site has no user accounts and does not take online payments. We do not ask for card or bank details on the Site.
2. How the chat form works
When you use "Chat with us", the details you enter are put into a WhatsApp message that opens in your WhatsApp. They reach us only when you press send in WhatsApp. They are not stored on the Site.
3. How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry, confirm your order and arrange delivery or pickup.
- To improve the Site and understand which pages and products people look at.
- To meet legal and tax requirements.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies and analytics
We may use Google Analytics (GA4), which sets cookies to measure Site use. You can block cookies in your browser settings. The Site also remembers, in your browser only, that you have seen the intro animation.
5. Third-party services
- WhatsApp (Meta): messages you send us are handled under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
- Google: Google Maps (store location) and Google Analytics load from Google and may receive your IP address.
- Instagram: links to our Instagram page open on Instagram.
6. Sharing and security
We share information only with delivery or service partners who need it to fulfil your order, or where the law requires it. We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
7. How long we keep it
We keep order and enquiry details for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete them.
8. Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to us at the email below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
9. Children
The Site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
